List -
The joy of being a tool & die maker is that if I need a tool to finish a
work order, I can make it and charge the time to the work order - then use the
tool again & again on other work orders.
I have a box of boring bar adapters in several sizes (large to small, and
vice versa), holders and contraptions for dial indicators to get in every
nook, hole, and odd angle, special flycutters, the coolest looking sine plate
you ever saw (with a spud to chuck up in a collet or chuck), jigs, bits &
pieces to make my many precision measuring tools even more useful, and so on.
Then there are hand tools - hammers, wrenches, chisels, sets of files,
screwdrivers, punch sets, pliers, scrapers, etc. - all made from scratch or
modified to serve my needs.
I guess I'm a tool hot rodder!
