We've been repairing the Damage to the Camaro all day so I've not had an
opportunity to read all the information you guys have put out... but I've
caught a couple of highlights... here is what I think...
If a wet sump system was worth more HP.... Every race car, in every Venue
would use one... BUT the case is that All other forms of racing use dry
sumps.... if they have a choice...
I'm not a race car engineer... ( shoot I don't even play one on TV.. ) but I
can play follow the leader fairly well.... The best race cars and even some
new high performance production street cars use them... So do I on
average.... when I don't use one... I know there are better systems out
there...
Why are they better.... Hmmm don't know...... to many race car engineers have
said they work better for me to take my un-educated opinion to the dance...
They work... I don't have to use my brain to figure out something that was
previously engineered into oblivion...
I can tell you that they are brutally easy to adjust your oil pressure up or
down.... they have never let me down and I'm not even taking advantage of the
Vacuum side... because I run an open breather.... But the dang tank holds 5
gallons of cool oil... ( with 5 internal heaters so I can pre-heat it... I
can pre-oil my engine fairly easy....
hmmm To much else to think about right now.... so this one is going to have to
wait...
