RE: Another stump-the-chump question

My thanks to everyone who responded with a note -- apparently VE greater
than 1 is possible and occurs more often than I realized.  Joe pointed out
the impressive numbers of motorcycle industry (I should have know that one -
du), and a friend off list suggested I check out an SAE paper (Honda paper
700122 on their 250cc inline 6 engine).  Reportedly, it shows V.E.s as high
as 120%, at as low as 10K rpm... hmmm...
