The only thing to worry about with gas welded aluminum is flux blead some day 
down the road ruining a galillion dollar paint job. I've always wondered how 
you can be sure the weld area is 100% flux free before the first coat of 
primer goes on. Of course I've got a restoiration not a racers view on most 
things.
