The plan is to speed up the event on the short course by timing the slower 
vehicles that peak out before the 3rd mile. We plan to time them thru from 
the 1 mile to the 2 mile. Theses slower vehicles won't need a 2-1/4 speed as 
they are not trying to qualify for the long course. As far as I know the 
will use the same measured mile for records. Make sense Dave.
