When I was a USCG aircrewman I sprinkled the ashes of a former Coastie over
the sea from our helicopter. Seems to me the box was about a 6-8 inch cube
(IIR). Current Big Twin tanks would be 2.5 gallons per side ...
At the time I did that I thought that would be a pretty cool way to go out.
Sort of like those B'ville racers who "deploy with the chute."

I don't know if I'd fit -- especially on the new tank. My
brother-in-laws' earthly remains are in an 18"-diameter urn on our
mantle. He was a big guy -- 350# or so -- and there's no way he'd have
fit into the 1 1/3 gallon tank on my bike. I don't know if I'd fit,
either. And if I'm gonna spend eternity in a tank I sure would prefer
to be in one that's got BNI "inspected" and "participant" stickers on
it, so maybe I'll have to get some stickers and a spare (big) tank and
have it stored at the funeral parlor.
Nah -- there's gotta be something else. . .
