Usualy front wheel drive puts more weight on the front . That means more
traction and fewer spins . With a flathead with the right final drive ratio
some kind of production front wheel drive set up might work . If you use a 4
wheel drive pickup front axel you need to use front wheels with a bunch of
negative off set . Pickups get away with the large scrub radius but it makes
for scarey handling with a race car driving only the front wheels .
