Here's a link to the Keweenaw Snow Thermometer site, showing a local 
landmark -- and stats for some of the towns up here.  I'm sort of 
ashamed to show this to you folks -- here in Marquette we have only 
received about 10 1/2 feet of snow this season -- maybe 3 or 4 feet of 
that since first of the year.

The thermometer is about 30 miles north of Hoton, where I went to 
college at Michigan Tech, and 130 miles northwest of me here in 
Marquette.  Notice the average annual total -- 15 1/2'.  And when 
you're done looking at the snow stuff, go to the home page -- and find 
out how to order pasties (in case you can't wait 'til Salt Talks '07).
