It is rated at 1.3 amps at 13.7 volts you are talking about less than 18
watts so around 0.024 hp.. what cooling is that?

Actually I sell Davies Craig parts, there is a controller available for
the pump that should be used. They work pretty good, I had one on one of my
Spitfires that I had cooling issues with, solved my problems until the car
got distroyed (which fortunately happened while I was out of the car).
