At Speed Week in '69 I remember being so impressed with the engineering and 
workmanship on his car---if I remember corectly he was runing a MB 
mech.injection pump on a Big Block in some sports car looking thing....I called 
and talked to him several years ago when I was deciding what to do on running 
turbos.....

I just hope that some of us are as inspirational to the younger ones as the 
ones we have lost in the last two years were to US
