Hmmmm, 50 gph for 700hp seems kind of marginal to me, Dave. Assuming a BSFC
of 0.5 lbs/hp/hr, 700hp would require about 58 gph. (assuming gas at 6
lbs/gal). And Dick's old Chrysler is probably worse with a BSFC closer to
0.6. Then add the mass of fuel in the 1/2" line that has to be pushed
forward against acceleration, filter restrictions, line restrictions, some
90 degree fittings, and 50 gph seems a tad too close to the limit with no
insurance. Am I missing sumptin? I agree with you though that he doesn't
need two pumps and ditto on the safety issues. -Elon

psi. Put 1 pump at the tank run through the filter there and use a bypassing
