I may be wrong but in my racing experience (gas SBC and nitro BBC) ignitions
don't make much difference unless you need advance curves or very high rpm .
With Vertex and Schiefer magnetos misfiring was never a problem and if it's
lit it's lit . Obviously modern mega flow blown and unblown nitro drag racing
engines are an exception .
