I run a 354 Early Hemi in my "33 Plymouth. I have gone to these adapters

and a Big Block Chevy water pump. You will also need a separate crossover
if your current arrangement doesn't already have one.

If you go with OEM early hemi stuff, Egge Machine offers water pump rebuild
service.

I switched to the BBC stuff because I installed a Blower and needed the
shorter pump, but it cured repeated shaft seal failure with my '56 Chrysler
truck water pump.
The BBC stuff works fine for me.
I am also running the MSD distributor, and I like it just fine too.
My 2 cents worth.

It's amazing what you can do if you don't know it can't be done.
