The memorial service for John will be held on Saturday, August 27th at 2:00pm
EST. It will be held at his church, the Stewartsville Baptist Church. It is
located at 10401 McColl Road, Laurinburg, NC 28352 (910) 277-0077 / fax:
(910) 277-8682. It is one-mile south/past the Pine Acres Lodge on the same
road. There will be no burial service.
There will most likely be a less formal memorial gathering in conjunction
with the September 24-25 ECTA meet in Maxton, NC for the out of state friends
and family that cannot attend the church service.
The information on where to send donations in lieu of flowers will be posted
soon. As John was a very giving man, the family is taking a little time to
decide which recipients John most supported.
