Just power back on at 1:25 A M , First we had Very High Winds & a "DUST
OUT", then a thunder storm hit here with heavy rain, hail & flash flooding,
it took everything off my patio & about 4:05 PM knocking out all power for
over 10hrs. We now have our lake back. Sure hope the BLM can keep the JERKS
off it over the weekend. My youngest daughter Jamie works for Edison & I
called her to see if Edison knew about the power outage. The next thing I
knew, Jamie was on her way out here, the JERK they sent out to find the
problem, got stuck in a mud puddle north of the BLM fence. Jamie was out
here by 9:00 PM & it took them 2 1/2 hrs to get that truck UNSTUCK. Because
Jamie is a good FOUR WHEELER, Edison had her drive this fellow around,
seeing if the could find the problem. They never did find the REAL problem,
they changed out some fuses( somewhere) & now we have power. About midnight
I gave up on Edison & headed for bed, with it being hot & muggy, could not
sleep. You never miss electrical power until you don't have it. My VERY next
purchase is going to be a 10,000 kw generator, something big enough to
supply the entire house, especially the cooler & fans. We have power outages
out here fairly regular. George
