We are considering the J&S Safeguard unit to help sense detonation in our Salt2Salt racer. It uses a Chevy detonation sensor which we would be attaching to the head of our turbocharged Stude 6 flathead motor. I'm wondering if salt spray pelleting the car at speed might be missinterpreted by detonation sensors causing inappropriate retard to occur. Anyone had any experience with this kind of thing? Thanks in advance Greg Salt2Salt.com |
