Braided hose

Just found my Fragola catalog. ( I guess it does pay to clean up the 
office once in a while)  For their push on barbed hose and fittings it 
says " We highly recommend the lightweight stainless hose clamp for high 
heat or high pressure applications....".
 I have always used clamps because I figured if you can push it on, it
