That's simple mayf.

1) Go buy a real OS like Linux or Win XP Professional.
2) By a cheap, fast WD 1200JB and install it as the boot (or first) HD.
    Your PC will be faster, almost crash free and run you current software
    with few, if any, problems.
3) For more speed add RAM.
