That would make perfect sense Keith(just as the bikes). The idea is to shut the fuel flow off if there were a rupture after it in the line and also to keep the engine from run-on(or whatever you may call it in your neck of the woods), should the ignition fail to kill the motor(especially at high rpm). Which a cam driven(mechanical) pump has no way of doing. TD > John my understanding is that it has to be some kind of barrel valve > unless it's electronic.... > Keith |
