There are two products that I've found useful when working on wiring anything that is going to be on the salt. Silicone Brake Caliper Grease and Dielectric Compound. I get it in a 3 oz tube from the Ford dealer for less than $10 and use it very liberally on what ever is at the ends of the wire. Keep a roll of paper towels handy to wipe off the excess. Liquid Electrical Tape. It does an amazing job of sealing just about anything. It can be used to make a cheap relay waterproof. The same with cheap crimp connectors. Bryan |
