I purchased the block from a West Coast Dart agent AD Performance.
He contacted Dart on my behalf who suggested I drop by their factory when
over next and they would check it out.
Referring to the cam bore over their own stated specs they said that figure
was before its final hone. They could supply me a set of slightly oversize
OD bearings but didn't consider it justified. They said to purchase oversize
cam followers available from Crane to correct the lifter bores.
Next they justified the tight crank tunnel by suggesting its easier to take
metal out that replace it.
I guess on all counts they knew they were pretty safe with me being down
here in NZed.
Call me naive if you like Dave but I take a man by his word or by his own
spec sheet.
