I saw one run at Lions. Very quiet, just tire howl. It used a mono propellant liquid fuel rocket motor running Nitro to generate lot's of hot gas. This went through a turbine, like the exhaust side of a large Turbo. The shaft drove a gear that turned a pinion shaft instead of a compressor. I had them mail me all of their tech stuff (long gone).
