There are a lot of people that don't want to fiddle with major body
modifications but "boys being boys" who cannot fiddle with any engine.
It looks like the Glass Class is designed to encourage this kind of
participant. Basically, put a safe cage in a stock car, but have a ball
with the engine. You can add any non stock-blower, any induction
(mechanical FI for Classic) or "swap" in a different engine. There is
nothing in the rule book that says the swapped engine has to be from the
SAME manufacturer (although, the example used is a BBC into a 56 Chevy).
But you could drop in a DOHC, V-6 Toyota in a '66 Mustang if you wanted
