To quote all who attend wakes, we are very sorry for his loss.
As an East Coaster, we mostly read about this multitalented man who
possessed all the skills we wished we had. I saw and photographed "Nasty," his
full-bodied Dragster at York, PA in 1964. It had Streamlining then that would
make
it a competitive Lakester today, 40 years later. I always liked the "loner"
tag, signifies independence and individuality to me, something I see in both
many of the guys on this list and the LSR sport in general.
