If the track was perfectly smooth, suspension? Slightly washboard, 
suspension? pot holes, suspension? Undulated, suspension? would a go kart 
perform better 
with suspension? A rubber drive shaft would prevent shock loading. I think 
suspended vehicles have broken parts too. I will never build a suspended lsr 
vehicle, but always wish I had! Just some things you have already thought of. I 
believe controllability is more important than traction or the lack of. jack
