Indeed. Packing up all of those last minute items. Like packing in a
B(ackup) motor in place of the A motor we fragged at Goliad. The nuts crew
still has high hopes as this motor has already gone 193 with a lot less
goodies than we have now. Two weeks of work crammed into two days. We pulled
the A motor on Sunday and ran the B motor on Thursday. Sounds and smells oh
so good.
Looking forward to seeing everyone on the salt and at Salt Talks. List
folks, please come by and say hi. We'll likely be on the back row under a
Texas flag.
Everyone - please have a safe trip out to the salt.

I'm sure there are other folks packing up and panicking over the last minute
details... This is one of the parts of racing I really enjoy... cause when
it's done... you get in the truck and take off to the semi great state of
Utah.... only semi great cause it's 2200 miles from here...
Life is good ... the Berkeley is about Ready.... David is thrashing on the
Camaro...( hearing horror stories about swapping out the oil pan and other
such stuff )... I know he's pumped up and proud to have an active interest
in
racing his own entry.... Good for him... Shoot good for me... I didn't
let
the beast sit in my garage and rot.... Perfect...
anyway.... just getting excited about seeing everyone... and going racing on
the salt again... a true gift... one I don't take for granted... every
time
is special ... even when it ain't so special....
