but, please, don't forget that to this time the 5 mile World Land Speed Record
was by
212 mph, set by Malcolm Campbell in 1929 at Verneuk Pan, South Africa.
By the way - the "Slug" and the rebuild "350 HP" Sunbeam are in Beaulieu (South
England), sometimes also the "Tiger". Other Record Breaker in Beaulieu - Golden
Arrow, Bluebird CN7.
The Thrust 2 and the SSC are in Coventry.
