List; As I haven't had the desire to run my Vega at Bonneville in the last few
years, I have tried to loan it to someone who would want to experience a 175
mph ride, cheaply. For some reason this always sounds like a lot better idea
in January then it does in July.
Whoever borrowed the car would need a firesuit legal for B/CGAlt, it needs two
new batteries, belts and fire bottles ( one 10 lb. and one five) certified,
oil and filters changed and any prettying up felt necessary. Also entry and if
you want me to tow it my motel room.
As before the guy who was going to spend every Tuesday evening and many
Saturday afternoons snazzing the car up, did absolutely nothing. Did not make
entry or motel reservations. And decided he couldn't afford the entry anyway.
Another big spender.
So there it is. Bonneville is getting pretty close but the car is available
for someone (Nor Cal. would be easier) if interested. You can't do any worse
