Physics makes no distinction between racing venues; road racing is
probably the most demanding on a braking system, though.

Thanks to John Beckett for his great "Dissertation."
I have a question about #1: Metering Valves. I've always heard that you
should proportion the brakes so that the fronts lock up first. Locking
the
rears first can lead to spins, which gets worse as fuel is consumed and
the
rear gets lighter (assuming a rear fuel cell). Is this only for road
racing?
