I don't think setting in lacquer thinner qualify's this as Bad power
coating..

What I know about the junk is that it sticks like mad... and is a real pain
in the butt to get off... that has merit in it's rust protection proporties
alone.

I really like the idea of power coating small parts.. big stuff like a tube
chassis just isn't a good idea unless you have the oven avalible to take it
back off to inspect the part... small stuff I can stick in a blast cabinet.
