Ray,
I used a (real) Dr. Gas Exhaust on both the T'Bird and now the Merkur.
It's what I prefer and you can tell it by its sound over a conventional
H Pipe system. A lot of NASCAR Teams use it also but there are a lot of
knock-offs that look similar. Not all NASCAR teams agree as to the value
and that's why not everybody uses them as they do stepped headers. I
think it may be because of the knock-offs being confused for the real
thing. When I look at the knockoffs I see a lot of crude "engineering"
that strays from the real "X" pipe. Anyway if you see Boyd, say Howdy
for me.
