In a perfect setup the transmission output shaft and the pinion shaft should start and remain paralel throughout the rear suspention travel. The angle between the drive shaft and either end should be less than 7 degrees. Setting pinion angles to allow for the rear axle winding up are a crutch for an inadaquate locating linkage for the drive axle. Jim in Palmdale |
