With FWD if the steering axis doesn't pass through or in front of the contact patch (zero scrub radius) the slightest difference in right to left traction makes the car weave unpredictably while accelerating - Custom wheels are needed to bring the tire inwards enough (over 3" with a dana 44 pickup axel) - Taylor Made Wheels and others can make any offset needed . |
