It is determined through SAE testing methods and published by ERC the supplier.
They have everything from something to run your generator to a TF car.. you will
be hard pressed to build an engine they don't have the fuel to run with them..If
you are unsure about what fuel to run in your engine just ask and Rick will give
you some solid advice. I know one car that has run 249 mph on ERC 110 their
standard plain jane fuel..
