As for the statement about having to run event diesel, the rules for the
liners says "...any choice of fuel are allowed in Diesel Streamliner class."

You have refreshed my memory. Streamliners and Unlimited Diesel Trucks can use
any fuel. All the other diesel classes must use 'event diesel fuel' as noted
in the class descriptions.
