Dick,

You already have a 120" wheelbase.  That's 6 to 12" longer than anything
else in your class.  Why go to the work and expense of moving it out another
2" if you don't really need to have the additional length for clearances.
The Studebaker V 8 is something near 600 pounds as it is.  By moving the
battery to the trunk area you end up with less weight on the front with the
Chrysler.  I'd be interested in how Ron and Gail Tesinski or Kvach Butters
feel about the engine placement in their Studebakers as opposed to say Bob
Ragsdale.
