I agree completely Neil. I think you could easily double the HP and have
a very reliable
Bonneville motor IF you kept the peak RPM about the same. I suspect the
GP engines
are using ceramic rollers on a crank which is made out of unobtainium.
In the end, it might be cheaper to buy a good used F-1 motor. as I said:
