Well, we're back and the de-salting has begun....... Not too
much dancin' in the end-zone this year. After a problematic
221 pass, the next pass was a turn-out (scared too many
ducks). Discovered some ugly internal problems and the car
went into the box. Some general observations; SCTA/BNI did a
great job keeping the lines moving, and in general, just put
on a damn fine show. Thanks & congratulations to the whole
crew. Many thanks to Wes P & Skip H for chasing all over to
find me a 6" bolt (Skip finally made one from one of Carl
Heap's old studs)Many thanks to the ECTA crew who let a desert
raat pit with them, and Joe T. who saved my spot. Ken & Rose
Bond did a great job (as usual) crewing for me. Mayf was
disapointed he couldn't help, but I was out of the game by the
time he got there. Can't forget the Amo boys for the fine bash
at the end of the road. Dahlgren is always a pleasure to be
around and got to meet Ted Wentz.....who CAN'T go fast with
those two behind you! Of course the Keith & Tonya traveling
road show & circus was worth the whole price of admission ;-)
Oh, by the way, if you see Keith with one of those red 200
caps on his head.... It's really a tattoo, he didn't want to
bother with something as fragile as cloth ;-) Good job KT!
Long time commin'. Leaving a lot out but I don't type well and
it's time for a cold one................
