My dad plans on arriving Friday morning and we'll be rolling in sometime
Friday afternoon. The trip takes a lot longer with a 1 year old.
We will be pitted with a big gang from San Antonio, Texas (Sonny & Dixie
Rossi, Al Cunningham, and others)--I guess they accept us since one of our
ancestors was a singer of the Texas Declaration of Independence. They always
fly a Texas flag and perhaps I'll bring my California bear flag to fly--so
be on the lookout for those. But, just look for our red modified roadster
#256 and maybe even our red '39 Chevy coupe. (Yes, we may bring both cars!)
Oh, and then there is our official team mascot, "Garmen" Marisia Cortez,
otherwise known as Carmen to all but Keith Turk who prefers her to have the
initials GMC.
Be sure to come by and see us! Also don't forget to bring LOTS of sunscreen
and a hat!
