All who assumed I made money developing publicity for TEAMVesco were totally
wrong.
Just like every other volunteer on TEAMVesco, all my efforts are donated,
that includes picking up my own expenses for travel, lodging and food. That
relationship continues and will -- as long as Rick deems my service
useful -- whenever and wherever the Turbinator rolls.
During the research phase of "Bonneville Salt Flats" I recognized that Don
and Rick had struggled for so long, so hard and with such unselfish
conviction, it was impossible for me to be immersed in this sport and not
lend a hand. That they accepted my help and allow to be a "team member, a
part of the crew, is payment enough.
This is not to say I work for free, I do not, but never will TEAMVesco ever
see a bill from me for services rendered. The same goes for Al and Jane
Teague.

As a publicist for the Vesco attempt I'm assuming there are financial
rewards for you in the situation. This is based on the time and travel
expenses you would have incurred in publicity about their speed record.
As a person interested in getting the Vesco name and speed record out to the
public you have also done everyone else who is mired in the FIA inactivity
about land-speed records a favor. You have the certificates that would
otherwise have taken much more time to surface.
