O.K. I have several questions...
I ran my motorcycle at World Finals and had a great time.
I plan to do the same next year. I also want to someday build a car from the
ground up. To get started I thought I would run my Dodge Stealth at World of
Speed to get a feel for it and also try to join the 130 mph club. I don't
think it will be as hair raising an experience as doing 170+ on two wheels
but should be much more comfortable with AC and a stereo! Two questions to
start with.
1) Do I have to tow my Stealth if it is only ran on the 130 mph club course
and is a street car?
2) Is the run up distance prior to the timed mile (or is it only a quarter
timed mile for the 130 mph club) a full two miles or is it less?
I'm not sure how long it will take me to reach 130 mph although I have had
it up to 140 mph before.
Bonus Question: Do you typically see the same speedo error with a car as
that with a motorcycle? My bikes speedo indicated 186mph when actual was
about 176.
