Subject: LSR vrs costs
I don't think it has been claimed that LSR is cheap racing. What it truly
is,
amateur racing(no purse) with an availability to win at a level within the
resources of the entrant.
You get to chose where you want to race and at what level you want to commit
available resources. If you chose a class that has had unlimited development
and resources thrown at it then you must play at that level to attain a
record. If you chose wisely then a record is within reach at lower costs
commitments.
There are plenty of places to play if that's your deal, witness 580+ car and
1800+ motorcycle classes. If you want to be the fastest of the fast then be
prepared to make the sacrifices.
