Went to the AARN Motorsports show yesterday and saw some odd plumbing on
an engine in one of the booths. I think it was Bicknells booth. Anyway;
the water pump was plumbed with lines running from the pump block inlets
to the water passage between the center cylinders. Looking at the
combustion chambers this puts the line right into the passage between
the exhaust valves. The lines were small, don't think they could have
been even 3/8 I.D. Is this a real hot spot in the head? Sitting in a
sprint or dirt car there's plenty of room to do it. In a production body
it 's pretty tight around the plugs and exhaust pipes so is this
plumbing worth it?
