Okay here is what I know for a fact...
450 rear wheel Hp will take you to 200mph... in a 1980 Camaro at Bonneville
on a Hot day... ( it's CD numbers wouldn't be near as good)
So if you have a 4 speed with limited transmission losses and a 9" ford or
better rear end ( better friction wise ) and you can build around 550hp out
of the motor on a dyno... or 450 at the rear wheels.... Your going to run
over 200mph 9 out of 10 times on the Salt... you might even qualify for the
long course which honestly fits in your current personal goal....
