List; In pre-historic days I had a duel cell battery in my hoped up '50
Olds. Came with a solenoid and cranked with 12 volts but ran all the systems
on 6. It was a great idea for saving Olds starters since the thing would
start right away even when hot. I see you can still buy the solenoids and
use 2 12 volt batteries. Running an alternator isn't a bad idea either.
