Wes:
don't miss the museum at the Speedway, itself. Excellent old cars-- most,
but not all, were Indy racers. My favorite was a FWD Miller, last qualified
for the 500 around 1947, by one "Roland Free"-- you know, the guy famous for
going 150mph on the old Vincent-- riding in "Superman position", in his swim
trunks and his wife's bathing cap-- Our "Rollie" Free!
Wish I was going, too. I have not YET seen the Auburn/ Cord/ Duesey museum,
either. Have fun, and tell us all about it.

Subject: What and where?
The kids gave me a ticket for the Indianapolis 500 race in May as a
Christmas gift. I'm going to drive there and see whatever I can along the
way. Suggestions are welcome as to what to see and where to go.
The Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg museum in Auburn, IN is a must see again, so is
the Speedway Museum in Lincoln, NE. Other than those two, what and where
are the great stops along the I-80 or I-70 corridors? I'll have to stretch
the trip to at least go to Pittsburgh to see my daughter and her husband.
