I think Elon is right that you are talking about 1.5 and 1.6 to 1 rocker
arms; sounds more typical, anyway.

However, Elon's math seems off, to me:  .1 is not 10% of 1.5; it is 6.67%.

Here is the way I would calculate it:

(1.6/1.5) X 0.557 = 0.594 inch lift, for the 1.6-to-one ratio rocker arms.

Scottt,  your ratio is actually 1.5:1 or 1.6:1 (not 1:5 as you indicated).
The difference between the two is  (1.6 - 1.5 = 0.1)  or 10%.  0.557 X 110%
= .613 lift for the 1.6:1 ratio.
