Well it seems as though Dave and Ted Wenz have come up with the starting of
the grand scheme for next year...
I hurt the heads pretty bad this year when the valve seat went into the
intake and shared it's bits with 7 of the 8 cylinders... Dave not being
fond of the heads to begin with really wanted to come up with a set designed
for a 302 not a 358... Something bout Port velocity or lack of it... as the
case maybe.
Ted seems to have a used set of nice 18 degree heads that are right up our
alley and they have some kinda weird intake with stacks instead of a
Carbuator flang..... ( don't have a clue how we are going to deal with that
yet ) Soooo the long and the short of it is I'm going to be running up to
Long Island NY right after Xmas and before New Years... to drop off the
motor and sneak a peek at our plans for next year....
Really looking forward to the trip.... it's always nice to see Teddy and I
might even sneak in a trip to Dave's place depending on the weather and time
avalible.... should be a riot.... you talk about a Coast to Coast effort...
whew...
Guess we'll set the car up to run in Fuel Comp coupe again with Fuel Altered
as an option depending how the rules committee shakes out.
