There was someone at Maxton that had a turbocharged car and re-routed the AC
plumbing to route the refrigerant to the intercooler. Wonder what the losses
are to run the compressor and would you gain enough in return.

> When I ran the little Isuzu the first year at Maxton, I ran an intake duct
from the throttle body into the heater duct for the car. I kept the windows
closed and A/C on at the staging area, and turned the A/C off just before
starting my run, thus the motor breathed cold air from inside the car. I
guess had I been running a little more motor, or a little longer race, I'd
have sucked the air out of my lungs, collapsed the car's top, and shattered
the windows into the interior of the car. hee hee

almost six mile per hour over all previous runs. One-time, short-term
intercooling at it's cheapest!
