I would think if the push board was attached to the frame or through a front
reciever and properly spaced away from the bumper there wouldn't be a
problem with the air bag deployment, however like Tom said the driver might
have a bad case of whip lash and a foul temper for some time to come. Some
years back the gangs
in Las Vegas would set up a cop car by backing into them at enough speed to
set off the air bags and allowing them to get away. They had a name for it
but I can't recall it.
